This is not a book I would have walked in to a bookstore hoping to purchase. This is a book I might have picked up at the library when I'd read through my first priority books. That being said, the only reason I read this was because it was being offered for free in the kindle-owners' lending library and I was desperate for something to read. I'm glad I read it though.

This is an exceptionally quick read. It's light and frivolous and mostly fun. I could do without the terrible and highly hard to believe love story plot lines, but I guess the author was trying to keep it in that romantic chick-lit category. If this had stuck to murder mystery and family secrets, this book would have easily earned a 4 from me. I guess I'm just not one for improbable romance. It always feels so forced.
