It was on okay-ish book. I liked Soren from the beginning, regardless of the world he lived in, it was evident that he was a good guy. He always thought about Gin and put her interest and comfort first. I liked the way he took care of her and her family. Gin on the other hand, was very quick in jumping to conclusions and that annoyed me a lot. I liked some side characters like Eva & Sienna but the men were very confusing and some were even disgusting. I enjoyed reading some parts of the book, the beginning especially was well written but Gin's character development was non existent and the way she unnecessarily anatgonised Soren in the first few chapters was really frustrating. So it was more of a 2.75 star read for me tbh.
