Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo

4.0

I can’t believe how much I loved this final book in the trilogy! My expectations were low because I wasn’t a big fan of the first 2 books. (I’m just reading the trilogy so I can read Six of Crows.) Man was I pleasantly surprised! I think the reason I liked this book so much more than the other 2 books is the found family aspect.  I think the other 2 books are much more about Alina and the villains. But this book we get to see this group of characters come together and work together for a common goal. We see them grow and bond together. I just loved it! I’m really hoping the Six of Crows is more of that same feeling.
