Alright I’ve got my problems with it but it was a cute little story with some of my favorite tropes and a nice healthy relationship and a sweet happily ever after. What are the problems, you might ask? First, there were far too many typos/errors. I get that isn’t a thing for some readers but it totally kills the vibe when I see “on” and “in” used incorrectly, “nuance” when the author meant “nuisance,” “lighting” instead of “lightning” etc. OH and please for the love of all that is good, never EVER refer to anyone’s eyes as “orbs” EVER AGAIN!! I also don’t get why there was all this foreshadowing of “everything going to shit” wayyyyy before anything actually happened, and when the conflict was like… barely anything. The way a few of the plot points were talked about really bugged me but I think that’s more of a personal preference?? And I KNOW the title of the book and the tattoo and everything else was a central theme of the plot but holy moly that metaphor was so tired by like 50%!!!!! Finally, I did feel like the character representation was a bit immature at some parts, but then again I did choose to read and finish a romance about a ballet dancer/teacher and a tattoo artist so expecting anything different is probably on me.
