This was such a delightful Regency romance!
I think I had a little bit of hesitation in the beginning regarding the premise of fulfilling a list of things you wanted to do before getting married that was originally written at 12 years old (oof), but it ended up coming together quite nicely!
The thing I enjoyed the most was the relationships between the family members - they felt real and were, frankly, lovely. (Her relationship with her brother was A++++). Then there was the romance itself - yep, adored it. Bad boy pugilist (fancy word for "boxer," which I didn't know and found delightful) teams up with a soon-to-be-wed Lady to go through her list and help her complete the items - full of banter, sweet moments, and a lot of coming to terms with who we are, who we want to be, and what we should do for ourselves.
(PSA: while there is a fiancé hanging about in the wings, this never feels like a love triangle, betrayal, or anything of the sort.)
I really liked this one and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to those that have a love for closed door Regency Romance!
