okay so i finished this yesterday and i had to let it sink in. i kinda felt like someone took an exfoliating brush to my chest cavity after i finished this and i’m still not sure why, maybe it’s just madeline miller’s writing. would’ve been 5 stars only i wasn’t crazy about the last page BUT it is growing on me. maybe. i want more heroines with wolf packs and lioness prides.
