How is it that Rick Riordan knows EXACTLY how to pull people into a story? He knows exactly how to write a story SO compelling that you want to know more about it, about the background and just everything in the story. I always liked mythology and history, but ever since the Percy Jackson series & the Heroes of Olympus I have been extremely into Greek and Roman mythology. Now, I am very very very interested in Egyptian mythology. The magic in the stories is quite easy to understand (I mean, it's pretty well explained I guess, magic is always difficult to actually understand), yet so exciting still. Look, there's a third book, you KNOW it's not going to be the best ending, but it's still very intriguing and I want to skip sleep and read the third book now. I'll wait however, because I'm not sure if I'm ready to finish the series just yet. If anything, I'm pretty sure I'll soon be rereading these books again...
