Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo
5.0
First things first, Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom are both amazing books and I’m glad that they were the ones I started with for the grishaverse.
First, this book had so much going on and although it was enjoyable and paid off at the end I found myself in what felt like a cluster of schemes in the middle and I don’t know if that was a good or bad thing. I do like how everything was wrapped up and there weren’t any plot holes that I noticed. Personally, I liked Six of Crows better even though I’ve heard many people say they prefer Crooked Kingdom. I enjoyed the plot and heist in Six of Crows but I also can’t deny that that characters stayed well written and were put above the plot. I also liked the cameos of the characters from the other books as well.
All in all, an amazing book and one I definitely recommend.
