I had to pause reading this book for a few weeks after a certain chapter lily's death
I just got so upset about it, I couldn't comprehend why would her friend do something so traumatizing to someone she loves.
When I finally picked it back up it took me a while to warm up to Celeste again and her pov's where hard to read for with all her insecurities and trauma. I don't know if I could've forgiven as fast her in-laws.
I can't believe I'm saying this but I think this story could've had less sex? I would've preferred more chapters with their emotional growth and see how they actually got to the end. I really enjoyed when they had those open and emotionally intelligent conversations. Also love the choosing each other everyday thing, it's something I actually can relate in my own relationship so of course I found it cute.
