When I began reading I was apprehensive about another detective/police murder mystery thriller, but aspects of When I'm Dead gives it an edge on other novels in this genre.
While technically the third in a series, you could read this as a standalone and not be confused.
This is the PERFECT Hallows Eve read! I devoured it in 24 hours on Halloween, and the vibes were *chef's kiss*.
