This was very cute! I could tell Abby Jimenez consulted with mental health professionals while writing Just for the Summer, so that was great. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel a lot of chemistry between the two main characters. I wanted more angst instead of insta-love. I was very invested in the fmc’s relationship struggles with her mom; that part of the plot was done so well!
