Oh my gosh Harpers sass seriously kills me with laughter.
Despite being overwhelmed with being the most powerful demons mate and anchor - and also being a prime of the lair now, She’s dealing with a lot of catty, petty, jealous bitches that are desperate for Knox’s dick, having to uproot her tattoo studio, and now dealing with a demon who is going rogue that kidnapped her mother.
Not that she’s ever had a close relationship with her mother but she’s getting the blame for it all. And it is overwhelming.
This rogue demon blames Harper’s mother for birthing her because he thinks that Harper is going to birth a child with Knox that is going to basically destroy all of the world.
Not only that but he’s also trying to go for Knox.

Knox is trying so hard to be protective and he is protective to the extreme. He holds information back from Harper because he just want to protect her heart and her mind. He genuinely has good intentions and is such a good mate, But my god is he just yummy and all alpha. Romantic even. Harper needs him to give her more respect and allow her to make decisions and take off on her own if she wants the respect of the demon lair.

Going from a nobody to being in the eye of absolutely everyone is a huge adjustment.

Had I not seen such a raving reviews about this series, judging by the covers of this series, I would’ve skipped out on these books and I would have missed out on probably one of the best PNR series I’ve ever read..

The spice in this book is 5/5 alone. Knox has what’s called ghost fingers and can give you a insanely intense orgasms from across the room. And boy does he know how to use them.
