despite being my first read of 2024 it will definitely end up in my top 5, if not top 3 books of the year, so so good, bit confusing on some magic parts but you can understand better as the book goes on, love the writing but then again it is m. l. wang so that is not surprising. characters wise i loved reading about sciona's growth and her thoughts and thomil and carra are so dear to me <3 bitter but hopeful ending you will always be loved by me.
