Megan Meade's Guide to the McGowan Boys by Kate Brian
3.0
Good-ish
I really struggled to rate this book, I loved the characters (most of them atleast) and the storyline was for the most part interesting. Will be keeping this spoiler free so sorry if it's vague.
Megan essentially has 2 options for boyfriend, I had a very clear preference and became worried when for a while it seemed like she might pick the other boy, so you can imagine my joy when a decision is clearly made and its my top pick, however there is then drama, drama, more drama and when the dust clears the book insinuates there may still be something in the cards with the other guy, what the hell? No, firstly these are two very different guys, yes they are brothers but that in no way makes them interchangable, second if you are interested in having a relationship with a guy stop showing intrest in other boys, especially his brothers, and finally if you have 2 guys to choose from, one who is sweet to you and protects you, the other is a jerk who makes your life difficult, CHOOSE OPTION ONE. Seriously I get its a teen girl in this and hormones beat common sense but urghhh.
This book feels like it needs a sequel, to tie up a few loose ends.
