The first couple of books were pretty fun, but this one was firing on all cylinders: a badass Tooth Fairy, the bittersweet inevitability of growing up, a few moments of comedy gold to lighten the mood, and then a cliffhanger right at the point in the series where I don't have the next book on hand to let me know how things are going to turn out. The only bad part is that I don't have kids or relatives' kids to read it to anytime soon.
