Not in Love by Ali Hazelwood
hopeful

It's very different from Ali's other books, less rom-com and a bit more drama and lots of sex.
I loved their sexual interactions, how different it is from most books. The main focus on not PIV at the beginning it's really nice, specially with Eli enjoying it so much. I enjoyed the portrayal of communication and consent in their sexual interactions.
I loved their emotional journey and character growth, it felt very real to me. I related to both Eli and Rue a lot. I have a lot of trust issues.
Eli is of course a mythical creature, as are all men written by a woman and once again I'm ruined for real life.
