Catch the Rabbit is a story of a complicated friendship clouded by the narrator's biased memories and romanticism. It takes place in post-war Bosnia and explores how war and trauma can impact two people in different ways, depending on their religious background and privileges.

This is the type of book that needs to be read the whole way through (and perhaps a second time) to understand the author's deliberate choices in her words, literary devices, and characterizations. Fortunately, I thoroughly enjoyed this and thought it was cleverly written.
