unfortunately, this book just wasn’t for me. while I’m typically a huge YA mystery fan, too many parts of this book just didn’t do it for me. the 2000s style ya love triangle with one brunet and one blond guy, the one-dimensional side characters (including the sterotypical mean girl character), the mystery that started out a little too personal for the MC because oh! she's involved — it just wasn’t for me.

the mystery was intriguing at first but then it became obvious where things were going, and i just didn’t find the resolution to be satisfying :( sad because i really thought i would enjoy this one.
