Outwitting History: The Amazing Adventures of a Man Who Rescued a Million Yiddish Books by Aaron Lansky

5.0

This book appealed to me as a bibliophile and as a Jew, but it was also just a lot of fun to read. The author's enthusiasm for his mission of rescuing Yiddish literature made every chapter feel like an adventure. A few chapters in, I recommended the book to my mom -- also a bibliophile and a Jew -- and she loved it too. Highly recommend this one.
