I enjoyed the dynamics between the characters a lot more in this book than the first. Vaughn is dominant and sweet to Faith. Faith is kind and smart. She's been kept away from most things and her discovering feelings was interesting. These read pretty stand alone so far so I wonder if there will be a small overarching plot which would make things more interesting. I don't have complaints it's just a bit plain. I try to not compare to books written now, it is easily digestible. I will give it one more book to decide if I will continue the series.
