This is one of the favourite books of my best friend. She lended me the book and I devoured this astonishing story of a little boy. Of course it is sad. I expected so much but this one has touched my heart in a way I cannot explain with spoken words. I fear speaking would ruin how incredible this book is - or felt to me.
It is a letter conversation between Oskar and God AND even though I don’t believe in any (Christian) god, it is such a touching way of portraying the story.
It became instantly one of my favourite stories. Thank you, my dear best friend, for showing me this piece of your heart.
