Where do I even begin… I loved this book so freaking much! Jamie & Pippa went to high school together and now she’s his assistant. Jamie is such a grump but his inner dialogue isn’t grumpy at all. I swooned so hard for this man. The grumpiness was so hot and the way he would be so bossy and she would snap back at him 🫠 I think I loved this story even more because they knew of each other in high school and both had crushes on each other and didn’t know it. Their chemistry was so beautiful. I’m such a character driven reader and they stole my heart right from the start. The way Jamie was with his mom 🥹 the whole dog scene in the beginning 100% won me over. From that point on this man could do no wrong. I binged this book in one day, practically one sitting. It didn’t feel as long as it was either which I appreciate. I’ll be reading “The Fake Out” very soon 🫶
