The Camelot Betrayal by Kiersten White
adventurous
mysterious
medium-paced
3.0
This book was 100% just a setup for the actual action of the third book, so most of this is just conversations between the characters.
Once again my favorite part of the story are the characters, but everything started feeling quite repetitive. Lancelot is just always guarding Guinevere, and apparently never sleeps. Arthur is always busy, and Brangien is off in a corner doing her own thing. The events themselves just kept repeating as well, and unfortunately this made Guinevere come off as annoying in this book. She always jumps to the wrong conclusions, which leads to spectacular fuck ups, and it's just like...why.
I'll still pick up the third book, since that's where all the answers will be, but I just wish there was more character development and substance to this one.
