Thank Oden this dark masterpiece is out in English! It's predecessor, 1793 (the Wolf and the Watchman) is a story with macabre imagination of ferocious intensity. This story (1794) is no different. Twists and turns (and burns) abound - the last 30 pages earned it five stars. We need more smart, twisted literature out in the world to enjoy. Thank you Niklas - can't wait until 1975 is released in English. Please continue writing your special brand of stories. Anyone can show the delight in happiness but only a true master can capture the despair and violence in such gorgeous, unabashed detail.
