Another Brooklyn by Jacqueline Woodson

3.0

Wow. This book was reminiscent of The House On Mango Street, Sula and Crooklyn. Woodson’s approach to writing is lyrical and minimalist— she says so much with few words. This is a pretty quick read, only 171 pages. A brief story that didn’t leave me wanting more, it gave the reader just enough.
