This might be one of the best summer-coded books Iโve read this year.
๐ ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ ๐๐ป๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: Bright Lights & Summer Nights by Kat Singleton
๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐: Black Tie Billionaires character series. Book 3z
๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐น๐: E-book ARC on Kindle. ๐ on KU.
๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฟ๐ฒ: Contemporary romance
๐ ๐ง๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐: Sports romance (football), just for the summer, he falls first and HARD, vacation vibes, found family.
๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ป๐ผ๐ฝ๐๐ถ๐: Emma is finding herself in the Hamptons for the summer, and decides to crash a part where she meets Preston. Heโs the leagueโs best starting quarterbackโฆ and he agrees not to kick her out if she will play girlfriend for his sisterโs wedding. Soon, however, playing pretend starts to feel awfully real.
๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐: I didnโt LOVE the last book in this series, but this new edition just brought me back to what I like about Kat Singleton.
Hot spice. Men who are growly and possessive. A little angst to top it all off. A perfect happy ending. What isnโt to like? On top of all of that, this book was basically built for summer.
I think what I loved most about this book - and stay with me here - was the third-act breakup. When the characters went their separate ways I honestly felt so sad (sometimes thatโs how I know itโs a good book), and then the way they found each other again was so perfect. The found family, the Hamptons settingโฆ it all worked so well.
