Yotsuba&!, Vol. 2 by Kiyohiko Azuma
5.0
As usual, Yotsuba never fails to make me laugh! Her antics are fun and remind me that kids can be so innocent, yet wily. It also reminded me that sometimes you can't always sugarcoat things for kids because it doesn't always work. Granted, there are times when you can be gentle (for example: "That drawing stinks!" isn't always what you should say to a kid. They're still learning!) and still give them instruction.
I loved reading about Yotsuba, the girls next door, and Jumbo. They're a huge family of sorts and it's nice to see people coming together and watching out for one another. As always, it's a nice quick read and light enough for when you're in a crappy mood. I really needed it this week!
I see binge reading in my future!
