This book was amazing! It's not for everyone and can be very graphic at times. I don't know if I would consider it historical fiction but it definitely has a lot of historical information included in the story.

There is a love aspect but not the kind where it controls the whole story. The book is more about understanding and controlling your feelings than just letting go.

If you are looking for something different to read, I definitely recommed this book!
