Sweet story, poor writing. The dialogue alone made me cringe when I first started reading the series. The southern drawn was way too overdone. And the “plot” moved too quickly in this book. Just a collection of VERY short stories centered around the Davises. However something about the characters just makes you feel all warm inside and you keep cheering them on, and crying with them and then smiling again as their life continues to evolve.
