Dead Silence was a book that took me by surprise. The characters were a bit of a mixed bag, but the plot blew me away. The story is engaging and compelling, with well-executed twists along the way. The author perfectly balanced the science fiction aspects with the horror elements, and captured the right tone for this kind of story. I’d recommend this novel to horror readers, to sci-fi readers and to anyone who thinks “Titanic meets The Shining in space” sounds intriguing.
