We are Definitely Human by X. Fang [Tundra Books #gifted]

We are Definitely Human had me chuckling from beginning to end. In this charming and quirky picture book, We are Definitely Human tells the story of three (obviously) aliens who crash on Earth and encounter the human Mr. Li. The three tell Mr. Li that they are definitely humans - and we see Mr. Li accepts it and decides to show kindness to these three strangers, however odd and different they may seem. And this kindness continues as the aliens need to fix their "car" in order to go home - and soon the people at the store also offer their help. This story of kindness and community is heartwarming and reminds us that while we may often hear stories of unkind humans - there are many kind humans in the world that give us hope in humanity.
