Heroine Complex by Sarah Kuhn

5.0

Evie Tanaka is eminently relatable, a harried young woman who's just trying to keep her shit together but finds herself capable of so much more once she gets past the fear and anxiety. Sure, the rest of us can't light fires with our hands and our demons are largely metaphorical, but isn't that what a good story's all about?
