If This Isn't Nice, What Is?: Advice for the Young by Kurt Vonnegut
4.0
Its really hard not to love a book like this. To hear the words of Kurt Vonnegut that he wanted to give to those who were graduating from college – priceless. I would honestly have given up a year of my life to have been so fortunate as to hear such a great mind speak in person. Unfortunately, the literary world lost a great man when Vonnegut passed away. So to that extent, its wonderful that his words have been commerated and passed on so future generations will be able to take heed to the words he put out into the universe.
There are so many wonderful words and phrases he puts forth in his speeches, but his general themes center around family and community, being kind to one another, and generally trying to enjoy everything that’s out there. Worth a read or a listen.
