my heart!! this book took me through the whole range of emotions. i truly, truly felt for ben and all of their struggles. just... i related so much to their strained relationship with their parents surrounding being enby. 

and even though it wasn't all that long ago, i wish i had queer stories like this when i was ben's age. and it fills my heart to see that stories like this <i> are </i> being published for teens nowadays. i cannot recommend this book enough. please please, read this book if you haven't already. 

i can't wait to dive into the novella asap and i truly wish ben all the best.
