The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

4.0

This is one of the most beautiful books I have ever read. V.E Schwab's writing is exquisite.

Reading this was like dining at a fancy restaurant, ordering the most expensive thing on the menu. I was torn between reading it slowly to savour the words and skimming so I can know what happens next. This is probably the first historical fiction I read, so I got pretty annoyed when the story went back in time, cause I just want to know WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THAT. I really can't get over how this book is a written masterpiece.

The way this book touches on disappointment, grief, not finding your one true passion, desperation, feminism, all of them so deeply described I feel like this book made me feel so many emotions, made me experience things I could never imagine.
