I will start by saying i had no issues with this book... until i read other peoples reviews and they sgtill weren't major issues but the more I started thinking about it the more Foster icked me out. like the guy is no Knox or Griffin Eden, those are top tier men so he had a lot to contend with. I enjoyed the book nonetheless and the twists/reveals had me like oh my god what?! BUT that being said a lot of the issues could've been resolved if people just said what they needed to say when they needed to say it, especially at the start everything felt very "I can explain" then proceeds to do everything but explain. 

The blackmail plot pissed me off i was like you broke Talia's heart over WHAT?! AND ON TOP OF THAT Vivienne was not a favourite side character, just felt that DP didn't know whether to make her a villian or make us forgive her but I had no sympathy on her situation because tbh i don't remember why Foster took on Kadence as his daughter like I think Vivi's baby daddy died or something but idk and idc. Anyway the more I think about it the more the plot tramples the characters, especially Talia, i reall would've liked to see more on how she navigated trying to earn the hospital/towns respect to see her as a Dr and not just Talia Eden, QUincy royalty. Loved the cameos of the Indigo RIdge couple & kids as well as Juniper hill couple and kids, just wanted moreeee. Papa Harrison and Grandma Annie are the best as always... may I will read their book lol.
