Sarum: The Novel of England by Edward Rutherfurd
2.0
Ok…. I’m proud I made it through over 200 pages of this in just a few days… but I can’t go on. Most of those 200 pages were deeeeep descriptions of prehistoric engineering. I’ve never read a novel that reads like a text book, so unique in that respect. My main takeaway, though: the f patriarchy of ancient times and beyond.
