This is the best book I've read this year. We find Patrick, a gay boy in a small town, beaten and tied to the gas pump with the nozzle shoved down his throat, and a sign, suck this, tied to it. This is a novel of hate, drugs, and self discovery, and how the truth can hurt and heel everyone. I can not say enough how great this book was, well done Lauren Myracle on Shine!
