I love Leigh Bardugo. . . but this just isn’t cut out for me, unfortunately. I tried so hard to love it. I was waiting for that spark, but it didn’t happen. You know what I mean? It was just a very underwhelming read and I was not satisfied with how everything turned out considering that this was a very popular book.

i'm sorry, but i had to go back and edit it to 2 stars. i kept thinking that maybe i didn't want to give it 2 stars coz LEIGH FREAKIN' BARDUGO wrote it and i love her. but the thing is, it's her i love and not the book really. few weeks later, i still couldn't find a single thing to love about ninth house hmphff T_T PEACE!!
