Unfortunately this was a DNF for me! The first half of the book was brilliant, with eerie questions and secrets galore. The narrator of the audiobook is incredible and kept me engaged. However, after around 50% the book became chaotic and the storyline went wild. There was a lot of death and uncertainty - it felt rushed, with none of the clever and complex plot development from the first half. Such a shame, as the first half/the narrator was 5 star!
