Flame of Sevenwaters by Juliet Marillier

4.0

It has been a long time since I've been to Sevenwaters, and it felt so good to be back!
I read the other books years ago so it's hard for me to compare them. Of course this book does not reach the heights of the original Sevenwaters trilogy (which books ever will?) but I had a lot of fun reading it, I could not put it down!

The end of the boko feels somewhat forgettable than the rest of it but I particularly enjoyed how all the action that happened before this book (and there was a lot of it!) is relevant to this one. So many characters from past Sevenwaters books are mentioned or even join us on this one! It really does feel that it all comes full circle (though I wouldn't mind a few more Sevenwaters books in the future!)

If you're a fan of series, you will enjoy this one. It might not be the best one, but it still has some of that Sevenwaters calibre. While reading it, I remembered how much I enjoy and miss this series as a whole and I am itching to re-read the other books!
