Number 1, Chaol did nothing wrong. Yall hate on him so much because of this book. This man lost his job, found out everything he believed in was a lie, had to see his ex girlfriend come back to town after basically dumping him and trying to kill him. He had to sit there and work with her and listen for hours about how much fun she had with a hot fucking fae prince while he was having the most miserable time of his life, and THEN she tried to kill his bestfriend and somehow HE is the bad guy for being a little rude to her???? You're insane.

Don't even get me started on how much he lost to help her during this entire fucking bullshit. This man deserves a pedestal for dealing with Aelin's bullshit while she was trying to figure out on which d*ck she wanted to bounce on more.

Number 2: Manon, I will protect her with my life. I get it ok, I had problems with her when I first read this series, but I was too ignorant to see the bigger picture. Her checking up on Dorian??? Just sitting by his window? Never tell me this bitch doesn't have a heart. I just relate way too much to her. She is strong, she was robbed of a healthy childhood, her grandmother is a fucking tyrant, she basically adopted a street dog for a dragon, tries to do what she thinks is best for her coven, she deserves to BE LOVED.

Number 3: We were robbed of Arobynn's death. If this was a dark romance, we could have gotten an entire scene of Lysandra guiding him to bed, whispering sweet nothings into his ear, climbing on top of him in his study, started having sex with him and then shoving a knife on the side of his throat as he is about to c*m. That would have been epic, and in my head that's what really happened. Every evil mother f*cker deserves to die when they're about to finish.

We have all been in an abusive relationship with this dude for way too long. I needed some Arobynn action because he is so fucking hot in my head and I blame that damned age gap and all the fanarts you guys put out there.

The metallic golden dress? The tension? Rowan????? Mother-f*ucking Rowan, he is my favorite alongside Manon, Chaol and Dorian. I WaNt TO TakE My TiME WiTH YoU??!??!?? To WHAteveR END?!?!??!!? The fact that he bumps his knee against the table when she mentions she is not wearing any underwear? He has the most adorable, sexy, fucking reactions to being turned on I have ever seen and he tries to control himself and it gets even hotter. I am here for this slow-burn and I will always be.

My favorite book of the series, by far. The most creative, intense, action-packed, the most fantastic and emotional world-building, the most incredible character development for all of them. Speechless. I am speechless every damn time. Survivor of Maas Destruction, literally. Anyways, I was debating if I wanted to write the longest review of my life or just add a single screaming/crying gif to this review but you got a little bit of everything I guess. Moving on to my Tandem read. Don't expect me to be reading anything else really until I finally finish this series.
