The second book in this series continues to follow Elise and Valen. They have a lot up against them and despite knowing being apart will help Valen focus on what he needs to do to avenge his family and people, they continue to run into each other and are fated to do it together.   

I will continue the series because they still need to do a lot to take back what her evil sister who is now queen and her twisted new husband the false King are using stolen magic to keep the kingdom to their will. 

The romance is still more slow-burn angst and the sex scenes are minimal and not super descriptive so for those who get the ick with that, this shouldn't bother you too much.
