"We're going to be okay," I repeat to him.
If things get hard again, I'll carry him. And he'll carry me.
And we'll be okay.
this book? mind-blowing.
I can't even begin to express how much I loved it! I couldn't stop reading, it's been so long since a book had this effect on me I might tear up.
I'm a huge fan of these kind of stories–post apocalyptic ones, where the scariest thing it's not the virus or nature but humans.
AND IN THE MIDDLE OF THAT, TWO BOYS LEARNING TO TRUST EACH OTHER AND ALSO FINDING COMFORT AND LOVE ????? UGGHHHHHHH ITS SO PERFECT
the right dose of everything–action, scenes where I was trembling on my knees because what the fuck was that, romance, HUMOR!! THE JOKES ?? PERFECT ugh andrew you little shit (endearing) you'll always be remembered.
the only thing I didn't like it that I WANTED TO READ MORE !! I DIDN'T WANT THE BOOK TO END !! can't believe there's a sequel–im both happy and scared!
