Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

5.0

This book. I am just at a loss for words. Everything was so perfect and everything I’ve ever wanted from YA. The cast of characters was so amazingly diverse it made my head spin.
One thing I absolutely loved was Kaz Brekker. He’s perfect. At first he struck me as your average bad boy but he’s the complete opposite but still bad at the same time??? How’s that posible??? I don’t know but I worship Leigh Bardugo for creating such an amazing character.
Inej was also amazing and though her and Kaz’s feeling for each other are barely hinted in the first book, I ship them so hard.
Nina is the waffle queen and embraces her personality and everything about herself, it’s just so lovely to not see the ‘I’m so plain but so beautiful’ trope, but a character who loves themselves and what they look like.
WYLAN, he’s so precious-
Jesper as well, he reminded me of myself, since we’re both tall giraffes and he would probably hit his head multiple times on that thing above the door that’s at that place that my theatre troupe was rehearsing in (I’m so good at explaining things)
And Matthias who was grumpy but who was also kind of sweet.

AND THE PLOT. It made my head spin (as you may notice, a lot of things make my head spin) and I had no idea what was going on half the time, but I still enjoyed it!
