Miss May Does Not Exist: The Life and Work of Elaine May, Hollywood's Hidden Genius by Carrie Courogen
informative
medium-paced
3.25
I knew nothing about Elaine May going into this book. She had quite an interesting life. I'm not sure if I would like Elaine May as a person.
I liked the author's writing style but the stories were a bit repetitive after a while. Overall a good biography which I would recommend to anyone who wants to reader about film making or female film makers.
Thanks to St. Martin's Press for an advance reader copy
