Confessions of a Prayer Slacker by Diane Moody

3.0

The title drew me in because I have to admit I'm often a prayer slacker myself. This book was a great reminder that most of my excuses for why I don't pray more are due to laziness, pure and simple. I loved her visual image of coming downstairs in the morning and finding Jesus sitting in the family room with a cup of coffee prepared for her, ready for some great conversation. When I think of prayer in this way, it seems so much more personal and something I want to do rather than something to tick off of my "now I'm holy list".
