Anne Frank's diary ends here.
That was the last & the most haunting sentence I have read. I have gone through many versions of Anne's diary but this graphical adaptation touched me the most. They were so near to being freed from the hellish nightmare but someone just wanted to see the world burn and told on them.
That last sentence gives me chills everytime. She would've been an impressive writer in this day & age. I first read this book I think when I was about the same age as her and now when I read this version it feels even more dark and depressing. But she was brave to the very end.
Anne, you and your powerful words continue to live among each of us readers. You are deeply missed.
