Secrets of Alkrose by K.M. Moronova
4.0
I loved book 1 and this one continued on the journey throughout Terra, Elias, Edgar and Finns story.
Usually having so many POVs things can get lost or the story is just so out of context it can be hard to follow but KM did it flawlessly.
I loved the progression and build up between the characters and movement of the plot.. I didn't predict a thing about the developments of the characters and their shadows or what and how they were going to affect their people.
I was anxious throughout waiting for either the crazy guy that hated everyone to end them or Emery to discover what Terra was doing in hiding. The finality of it all really brought it home and had me screaming at the cliffy it left it at.
My only dislike was that Terra didn't seem to show much progression in her shadow work but a few times but I also realise a lot of it has to do with her holding onto her humanity so hard. I am really excited to see where this goes in book 3!
