This was a fun, sweet, and unique read. Crow was great. He was sensitive, rugged, independent, and smart. Cyrus was sweet, thoughtful, and open. I love that Cyrus gave Crow a chance and didn't immediately write him off like everyone else in town. It was fun to see Cyrus learn how to communicate to Crow with minimal verbal communication. I also enjoyed seeing them take care of each other. Cyrus's mental health also made him feel so real and I appreciated the wonderful depiction of mental illness and medication. Cryus's background with drugs and his ex was compelling as well. And Crow's background with the cult and foster system was also an exciting part of the story. I appreciate Melody and the one police officer as well.

Notes: 2/5 spice levels, "who did this to you", addiction, recovery, cult, religious trauma, parental trauma, grief, mental illness, mental health (medication), selective mutism, small town, hurt/comfort, possessive mc, insta lust
